  • URBN – Temporary Payroll Administrator

    Reports to:  Payroll Manager

    Hours: 37.5 per week

    The Payroll Administrator will be an integral part of the payroll team; as first point of contact to stores across all three brands (Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie and Free People) regarding payroll and pension queries, this position is highly suited to someone who enjoys a varied day and resolving questions quickly. The ideal candidate would be efficient and effective, working within the payroll team to provide excellent support to the business.

    Key Skills & Responsibilities

    • First point of call for all stores
    • Respond to queries quickly and effectively
    • Assist with processing the UK monthly payroll
    • Assist with processing international payrolls where required
    • Knowledge of current UK Payroll and Pension legislation
    • Manual calculations for statutory payments (SSP, SMP & SPP's)
    • Processing starters, changes & leavers
    • Excellent Word and Excel Skills - VLOOKUP's, Pivot Tables & IF Statements, Mail Merges
    • P60's, P45's & P11D’s
    • Statutory deductions such as Student Loans, AoE’s and Childcare Vouchers

    Systems

    • ADP
    • Kronos
    • Microsoft Outlook and Excel

    Requirements

    • At least 1 – 2 years payroll experience
    • Processing UK monthly payroll for 1000+ employees from start to finish
    • Some International payroll experience preferable
    • Intermediate – Advanced level using Word and Excel
    • Knowledge and experience of statutory calculations
    • Excellent spoken and written communication
    • Excellent organisational skills
    • ADP and Kronos experience a must
