  • JOB TITLE: UO – Retoucher (FTC)                    


    As Retoucher, you are responsible for the delivery of high quality imagery representative of UO to be used Online and in store for Europe.


    Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Retouch fashion and still life e-commerce imagery for the UO website ensuring excellence in quality
    • Consistently meet daily output targets as set by your line manager
    • Retouch editorial and marketing imagery for web and in store
    • Complete and report daily uploads of imagery via relevant CMS and merchandise tracking systems
    • Assist with email queries and complete image amendments
    • Adhere to seasonal updates and creative direction from your line manager and wider team
    • Follow supplied retouching guidelines for and affiliated concessions
    • Provide quality control for the UO website to maintain a standard equal to, or beyond that of our competitors
    • Assist line manager with admin duties and freelance training
    • Complete ad hoc imagery requests to support other areas of the business



    • Minimum of 1 years experience in commercial retouching
    • An understanding of corrective e-commerce image editing and colour
    • Proven administrative experience
    • Proven ability to multi-task and work to multiple deadlines


    • Comprehensive working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Bridge and related photography software
    • The ability to handle daily workloads with a systematic approach and technique
    • The ability to work quickly and efficiently with a strong eye for detail
    • Confident use of Mac interfaces and Wacom tablet
    • Good understanding of Microsoft office package, particularly Outlook & Excel
    • Strong self-motivation to constantly improve personal performance and that of the team
    • Working knowledge of adjustment layers and actions preferable
    • The ability to be reactive and flexible to competing schedules in a studio environment
    • Strong organisational and time management skills
    • Capability to use initiative and show improvement from feedback provided
